This car was developed by Honda of America Mfg. and based on the Model X concept vehicle unveiled at the 2001 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Manufactured at the East Liberty Auto Plant in Ohio, it was also exported to Japan starting in April 2003. This guide provides detailed fuse and relay circuit diagrams for 1st-generation Honda Element models (YH1, YH2 chassis) covering model years 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 (facelift), 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 in both 2WD and 4WD (Real Time AWD) configurations.
Below you will find fuse box locations, component layouts, and circuit diagrams. Fuses protecting the “Cigarette Lighter” (Accessory Socket) and “Fuel Pump” circuits are highlighted in bold.
Passenger Compartment Fuse Box
Located on the driver’s side under the dashboard, behind the lower steering column trim panel.
Engine Compartment Fuse Box
The under-hood fuse box is located on the driver’s side (left side) of the engine compartment under a protective cover. To access, press the tabs on the cover and lift upward.
