The K5 (also sold as the Optima or Magentis) is a mid-size executive sedan produced by South Korean automaker Kia Motors, with production starting in 2000. In this article, we provide detailed fuse box diagrams and relay layouts for first- and second-generation Kia Magentis / Lotze / Optima / K5 models (GD and MG chassis codes) produced from 2001 through 2010.
Below you will find the locations, photos, and circuit diagrams for the distribution boxes. The fuses for the “Cigarette Lighter” and “Fuel Pump” are highlighted in bold.
Engine Compartment
The main fuse box is located on the left side (driver's side) of the engine compartment. Remove the protective plastic cover to access the panel.
