The fifth-generation Lexus ES front-wheel drive sedan premiered in 2006. After a long reign of three-liter power units (with the exception of the debut of the first generation with a 2.5-liter engine and the short-lived fourth generation with a 3.3-liter engine), the new version was equipped with a 3.5-liter engine for the first time. The car is still built on the Toyota Camry platform. However, its premium status is emphasized by an emphasis on premium luxury, increased attention to the smallest details, and rich trim with wood, polished metal, and leather inserts.
The power circuits of the Japanese premium car are protected by relays and fuses. The elements are installed in distribution blocks located in the engine compartment and the passenger compartment.
