The third generation of the Lexus GS sedan has become an independent model, no longer tied to its Toyota Aristo counterpart, as was the case with its two predecessors. Reorganization within the company has made the Lexus premium brand completely independent in terms of design and sales. The new Lexus GS now features the exclusive L-finesse design (smooth, descending, yet spirited and powerful proportions and lines), which subsequently defined the appearance of Lexus models. The sedan also features an aerodynamically perfect fastback profile. The front end style with four headlights and the distinctive rear door curve are reminiscent of the previous model. The car was given the internal code S190.
The power circuits of the Japanese premium car are protected by relays and fuses. The elements are installed in distribution blocks located in the engine compartment, in the passenger compartment and in the trunk.
