The second generation Lexus IS was produced from 2005 to 2013. Such a long life on the assembly line allowed the car of this series (XE20) to undergo two updates. Compared to the first generation, which was an analogue of the Toyota Altezza sports sedan, the new Lexus IS has become more solid, noticeably increased in size, and the wheelbase has increased. At the same time, it is a typical representative of a premium brand, with all the hallmarks, including the luxury of the interior and the rich list of equipment. In 2008, the car underwent restyling, which made minor changes to the interior and exterior, and the suspension was reconfigured. The next restyling took place in 2010 - the car received new headlights with gas-discharge and LED lamps, the design of the rear combined brake lights was changed.
