The second-generation Lexus IS was produced from 2005 to 2013. Such a long production run allowed this series (XE20) to undergo two updates. Compared to the first generation, which was analogous to the Toyota Altezza sports sedan, the new Lexus IS became more solid and noticeably larger in size. At the same time, it is a typical representative of a premium brand with all its inherent features. In 2008, the car underwent a restyling, during which minor changes were made to the interior and exterior, and the suspension was reconfigured. The next restyling took place in 2010 — the car received new headlights with gas discharge and LED lamps, and the design of the rear combination brake lights was changed.
