The "second" Lexus RX, which appeared in 2003, features a redesigned body, in which, as the developers note, sporting aspirations are emphasized by the stylistic elements of the coupe and contribute to an excellent coefficient of aerodynamic drag (0.32). The chassis and engine mounts have been redesigned to achieve the lowest vibration levels in the segment. New adaptive xenon headlights were developed for the car, lights were installed at the back using LED technology. The version, equipped with a three-liter V6 engine, is still called the RX300 and was intended for the market.
