Fuses and relays Volkswagen Polo 3 Classic (6V5), 1994–2001

The third-generation VW Polo is also known as the Polo Classic. Produced from 1994 to 2001 in sedan and hatchback body styles, this model received a facelift in 1999. Consequently, these changes also affected the vehicle's electrical system. In this guide, we illustrate the general layout of the electronic control units (ECUs) on the Volkswagen Polo Mk3 Classic (chassis code 6V5; A03 / PQ24 platform) and provide detailed diagrams of the fuse and relay boxes. The location of the cigarette lighter fuse is also specifically highlighted.
