The VW Touareg is a mid-size crossover SUV produced by Volkswagen since 2002 and manufactured at the Bratislava plant. It was the third SUV model in the brand's history, following the Type 82 (Kübelwagen) and the Iltis. The third generation is built on the VAG MLB Evo platform. Two separate fuse panels protecting cabin electrical circuits are located inside the passenger compartment.

Layout varies depending on whether the vehicle is left-hand drive (LHD) or right-hand drive (RHD).
On right-hand drive (RHD) models, it is located in the front passenger footwell.

On left-hand drive (LHD) models, the fuse box is located in the driver's footwell. To access it, pry off the protective cover using a trim tool or screwdriver.
