Fuses and relays Audi Q5 (8R), 2008–2017

The Audi Q5 (8R) crossover was produced from 2008 through 2017. This guide provides detailed location diagrams and fuse assignment charts for the relay carriers and fuse panels on 2009–2017 Audi Q5 models, as well as instructions for replacing the cigarette lighter fuse.

Relay Carrier and Fuse Panel Locations in the Audi Q5


1. Fuse panel and jump-start terminal in the plenum chamber;
2. Fuse panel on the right side of the instrument panel (designated as “SC” on wiring diagrams), accessible by removing the instrument panel side cover;
3. Relay carrier and bracket for the onboard power supply control module -J519- in the driver footwell;
4. Fuse/relay carrier and CAN bus node on the right side of the luggage compartment (designated as “SF” on wiring diagrams), accessible by removing the right rear trim panel;
5. Main fuse carrier on the positive battery terminal;
6. CAN bus connector and coupling station at the base of the left A-pillar;
7. Fuse panel on the left side of the instrument panel (designated as “SB” on wiring diagrams), accessible by removing the instrument panel side cover;
8. Relay and fuse carrier in the E-box.
