Table of Contents
The Explorer is a midsize crossover SUV produced from 1990 to the present. This article provides fuse and relay box diagrams, circuit descriptions, and component locations for the 5th-generation Ford Explorer (D4 platform; model years 2011–2019, produced from 2010 through 2019). During this production run, the vehicle received two major facelifts.

Passenger Compartment
The passenger compartment fuse box is located under the instrument panel on the driver’s side, behind a protective cover.
