The first generation Mercedes Benz ML-Class (W163) was produced from 1997 to 2005. This midsize frame SUV was offered in five-seat or seven-seat variants. It was the first luxury SUV to feature an electronic stability control system. The mounting block is located in the passenger footwell, behind the trim near the door. It has several variations depending on the year of manufacture.
