The Vectra B was presented in October 1995 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. A year later, in September 1996, the Caravan version with station wagon body was announced. It was exported to Brazil under the brand name Chevrolet, in Australia and New Zealand it was sold under the name Holden Vectra.
