The second generation Subaru Impreza features a completely redesigned chassis. The main changes were aimed at achieving better handling with a slight increase in size: the wheelbase, body width and track were slightly larger. The length and height were slightly increased, but the recognizable proportions were retained. The four-wheel drive and the boxer engine remain unchanged. The second generation Subaru Impreza was produced in sedan and station wagon bodies. The sports models WRX and WRX STI, equipped with high-performance turbocharged engines, occupied a special position in the lineup. As for cars with naturally aspirated engines, the usual Impreza station wagon for Europe, for example, was available in versions with 1.6 and 2.0 liter engines.
The vehicle's power supply circuits are protected by relays and fuses. The elements are installed in blocks that are located in the engine compartment and in the passenger compartment. Considered circuits Subaru Impreza (GG / GD) 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 release 2WD & 4WD with 1.5 liter engines; 1.6l; 2.0l; 2.5 l; 2.0 l TURBO and 2.5 l TURBO.
