BMW expanded its crossover lineup in 2003 with the introduction of the compact X3 model. The vehicle is built on the same platform as the 3 Series. Its design retains the features and proportions of the larger X5. In this article, we provide a detailed overview of the fuse box diagrams for the first-generation BMW X3 (E83), covering model years 2003 through 2010, including the 2.0d, 2.5i, 3.0d, xDrive18d, xDrive20d, xDrive25i, xDrive30d, xDrive30i, and xDrive35d variants.
Below, you will find the locations and photographs of the power distribution boxes. The fuses for the “Cigarette Lighter” and “Fuel Pump” are highlighted in bold.
Luggage Compartment
The main power distribution block is located directly on the battery.
The rear window defogger relay module is located beneath the right-hand side trim panel.
Passenger Compartment
The primary fuse box is located behind the glove box. To access it, release the two retaining clips and lower the panel.
