Most electrical circuits in the American hatchback and sedan are protected by fuses. Powerful current consumers are connected via a relay. Most of the protective elements are located in distribution boxes in the passenger compartment and under the hood.
The information provided in the diagrams is relevant for Chevrolet Cruze 2nd generation (J400) 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 models.
In the engine compartment
Main fuse box
Located on the right side of the engine compartment, behind the plastic cover.

In the passenger compartment
Located in the center console under the HVAC controls. It is closed with a plastic cover.
To access:
1) Pull up and open the cover;
2) Remove the bottom edge of the cover;
3) Remove the cover itself.
