Fuses and relays Ford Transit 5, 1994 - 1999

The 5th generation Ford Transit was produced in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999. In this publication, we show the location of the Ford Transit 5 fuse and relay blocks, their diagrams and a description of the elements. Note the fuse responsible for the cigarette lighter.


This model has 3 blocks with fuses and relays. The main one is in the cabin and 2 additional ones under the hood. Their performance and the number of elements may differ and depends on the equipment level of your Ford Transit 5.

In the passenger compartment


It is located under the dashboard behind a protective cover, on the back of which the current block diagram will be printed.

Fuse number 13 at 15A is responsible for the Ford Transit cigarette lighter.

In the engine compartment

Power fuse panel


This unit is located in the engine compartment to the right of the car's movement, behind the main battery (more precisely, between it and the right wing). All the main equipment of the car is somehow connected through these fuses. There are 6 such fuses in total, they are designated as FA, FB, FC, FD, FE, FF. The current diagram will be printed on the cover.

Regardless of the configuration, engine type, etc., on all 5th generation Ford Transit cars, at least two of the six fuses are mandatory in the block.

  • R209 - hydraulic pump relay
