Fuses and relays Toyota Land Cruiser (J100), 1997–2002

The Toyota Land Cruiser 100 replaced the 80 Series, which had demonstrated exceptional reliability over the years. Consequently, the global popularity of the 100 Series was largely driven by the tremendous success of its predecessor. In this article, we will take a detailed look at the fuse box diagrams for the sixth generation Toyota Land Cruiser (J100 / J105 chassis codes) produced from 1997 to 2002.

High-current fusible links located on the positive battery terminal:

  1. J/B NO. 2 – Fuses: “ECU-B”, “FR FOG”, “DEFOG”, “AHC-B”, “TAIL”, “STOP”, “DOME”, “POWER”, “OBD”, “RR A/C”, and “RR HTR” (100 A);
  2. ALT – Fuses: “J/B NO. 2”, “MIR HTR”, “AM1 NO. 1”, “ACC”, “CDS FAN”, “HTR”, and “ABS NO. 1” (140 A);
  3. MAIN – Fuses: “ECU-B”, “FR FOG”, “DEFOG”, “AHC-B”, “OBD”, “TAIL”, “STOP”, “DOME”, “POWER”, “RR A/C”, and “RR HTR” (100 A);
  4. ALT-S – Charging system (7.5 A).

Left-Hand Drive (LHD): The fuse box is located on the lower right side of the dashboard, in the driver's footwell.


Right-Hand Drive (RHD): The fuse box is located in the passenger-side footwell.
