Volvo V50 made its debut in late 2003. It is a family station wagon based on the second-generation S40 sedan, together with which it is built on the Ford C1 platform (Ford Focus and Mazda 3 are also based on it). In vehicles equipped with the Start/Stop system, another fuse board is installed in the engine compartment. It is mounted on the side of the battery and consists of high-power fusible links:
- 11M/1 - Electrical distributor (125 A);
- 11M/2 - Battery monitoring sensor (15 A).
